Apriil 2015 -
ONTARIO COUNTY WOMEN’S REPUBLICAN CLUB (OCWRC) has new leaders! “If you want something done, ask a woman,” said Margaret Thatcher. “A busy woman,” I add! Advancing on that premise, Trisha Turner of Victor, NY, was asked to serve as OCWRC president. Her first impressive move – she did her homework. Not content with a mere “Yes”, she examined past meeting minutes and our by-laws. After careful consideration, she was up to the challenge of serving.
Also stepping to the plate are Renee Paulsen as 1st Vice-President, Maureen Bills as 2nd Vice-President and Eleanor Barry as Treasurer; OSWRC is waiting for confirmation for the position of Secretary.
Trisha, manager of Turner Properties NY, LLC, is the mother of three girls. She serves as Secretary of the Ontario County Republican Committee and as a member of the Victor Republican Committee. Trisha serves on the School Board of Victor Central Schools and is an active member of Victor Community Church. She was heavily involved in County candidate campaigns, setting up facebook pages and offering knowledgeable insights into the art of campaigning. She has received state-wide recognition for the facebook page she set up for the Ontario County Republican Committee.
We heartily welcome Trisha, Renee and Maureen, and are excited about what they have to offer Republican women, both locally and at the State level. These are dedicated, focused women and will make us all proud.
