10/15/2015 So thrilled that I, Ann Schockett, NYSFRW President along with Jo-Ann Clear who is NYSFRW 1st VP and Karen Smith who is 2nd VP, had the opportunity to address the Women’s Republican Club of Saratoga County about current topics of interest in the Federation of Republican Women. Local Republican candidates as well as GOP County Chair Herrick joined the assemblage and spoke about the upcoming elections. What a wonderful club of dedicated and hard-working members in Saratoga!

THE WOMEN’S REPUBLICAN CLUB OF SARATOGA COUNTY has five events a year.
March is a Cabin Fever,
May is the Annual Fund Raising dinner
June is our Picnic
November brings our Membership Drive
December signals our Christmas Party.
We also hold monthly meetings of the Officers and Board Members.
At some of our public events, the WRC of Saratoga County asks for donations for food banks, Women’s Veteran Homes, etc. At the June picnic, we award two $500.00 scholarships for which all the high schools in Saratoga County receive applications. The applicants have to write an essay, and we have a committee that reads them and selects the two winners (see photo).
We give our County Committee a check every year at our County Rally, which is held in September. Also, all the towns in Saratoga County have rallies and I, as president, try to attend them all. We give them a basket with goodies in it to use as door prizes.
